Here is my soap box for the day .... Ive been asked why Im single and also my thoughts on marriage today ..... Well I believe anyone can find SOMEONE to be with .... But I dont wanna settle ... I dont wanna just be with someone for the sake of not being alone .... Ive learned over the past two years that I would rather be alone , than to feel like I had to settle in order to not be alone . Id rather be all by myself than to try and force myself into spending forever with the wrong person . Marriage is a special and beautiful thing. Youre supposed to do it with your one not just someone who happened to fall into your metal time line. We all get caught up with our timelines. We think we are getting too old and we have to get married by a certain age , in order to experience having a family and having the married life. But what Ive realized is Id rather wait till I was 60 to have the married life if it meant I was going to do it with my one and have a true marriage . The kind of marriage where you dont wanna be without them... The kind where you feel like they complete you .... I want my kids to have a positive example of what a relationship should be . I dont want them to see me and my husband settling bc they will assume thats the norm. I would NEVER want my children to settle .. So why would I want that for myself ? I would rather not have children than to bring them into a world where settling was acceptable ....
