Here is my statement in support of the Save American Workers Act, - TopicsExpress

Here is my statement in support of the Save American Workers Act, a bill that repeals the 30 hour work week requirement in Obamacare. “As we all know, Obamacare is simply not what the president promised, and too many Americans are now suffering the consequences. Instead of actual reform, it is a jumbled mess of rules, regulations, and tax penalties. The employer mandate and the 30 hour work week requirement could force job creators to cut employee work hours and leave wage earners and working families with smaller paychecks. This is exactly the kind of big government policy that prevents personal success and slows economic growth. “Today, as an original co-sponsor, I voted to repeal the 30 hour work week defined in Obamacare because it will help protect the pocketbooks of lower and middle income Hoosiers and working Americans across the country. While we must continue to fight the employer mandate and find ways to replace Obamacare, the Save American Workers Act is an important step to removing many of the job killing regulations put forth by this administration. “As the 114th Congress begins, I look forward to continuing my commitment to the American workers and small businesses that make our country great.”
