Here is my take on minimum wage increase as I wasnt asked for my spin. Foulds has been fed at the public troff since birth. What does he know about hard working families working 3 jobs to make ends meet? Or about business. As a private business owner my view on a measly pathetic increase shows the Liberals complete utter failure in job creation. If you cant and will not allow companies to open and develop freely there will be no good paying jobs at all. Also any increase to minimum wage ultimately hurts those who are trying to make a living by owning a business. 75 cents doesnt seem like a big deal to some but to an employer 75 cents is only the beginning because of commensurate employers contributions. This will result in less hiring, reduced hours and possibly lay offs. We dont need minimum wage jobs we have enough of them. We need good paying jobs like Mining ...wheres cliffs today ? They are not north of Nakina!
