Here is something where we are asking for people to help someone in our community if you can. Just this afternoon Andrea Cummings, a trustee on our Rebuild Christchurch Foundation and now Community Board Chair for Burwood Pegasus was on her way to be photographed for the Pegasus Post and interviewed regarding the racial abuse and road rage she witnessed last night, when right in front of her, in broad daylight and with heaps of people milling around... a severely disabled gentleman was robbed by a young teen and his buddies. The elderly man ended up falling on the road and missed being hit by a bus by only a foot. He was robbed of $320, a substantial amount for someone on a disability allowance. Andrea is asking anyone to donate some money to this gentleman as the police say it is very unlikely he will get the money returned.
