Here is the first in a series of posts about the full body physical benefits of dragon boat paddling. Tonights benefit is INCREASED CARDIOVASCULAR FITNESS. Increased cardiovascular fitness also reduces the risk of disease, including the reduction in body weight, blood pressure,and bad cholesterol, while increasing good cholesterol and insulin sensitivity. An effective way to combat anxiety and stress is to increase cardiovascular fitness. Exercise triggers the release of endorphins, which can quickly elevate your mood, making you feel better and also increase your self esteem. Why not come and give dragon boating a try Thursday at 6pm or Sunday at 10am to start experiencing this physical benefit along with many others!
