Here is the last record from Nights and Weekends, well two thirds of the band anyways. While Beam was taking time off and thinking about his role in the band, Jay and Dave didn’t know what to do with their selves and did what they thought was the next logical step, record some new tunes and try to push on. With old members and new musicians coming and going, this record ended up with a lot of guests and done with a “live” spirit in the performing, recording and mixing. So keeping with the Nights and Weekends tradition of living in the moment, 99% of this record was improvised on the spot. What you hear on these recordings is what we were feeling and thinking in that moment when the record button was pressed. Walking these recordings through to the end was a blissful bitter sweet process knowing the band was done but now doesn’t seem right to not release it in some form, so here it is for free on Bandcamp and 10 bucks on iTunes. We hope you enjoy the creative and party spirit in this record; it was inspired from our live performances and the feedback we received from the friends, family and fans of the band.
