Here is the report on last nights accident on Railroad Canyon Rd. The Friday Flyer appreciates those who take time to post on this page traffic delays that affect Canyon Lake drivers. From Riverside Sheriffs: On January 21, at 7:20 p.m., deputies from the Lake Elsinore Police Station responded to an injury traffic collision on Railroad Canyon at Church Road. Deputies arrived at the location and found one of the vehicles partially blocking Railroad Canyon and the other vehicle traveled across the road and down the embankment. One of the drivers was transported to a local area hospital with unknown minor injuries. Railroad Canyon vehicular traffic was diverted for nearly half an hour while the vehicles were removed and the roadway was cleared. The cause of the collision is still under investigation and any witnesses are encouraged to contact Deputy Gardner at the Lake Elsinore Police Station by calling 951-245-3300.
