Here is the road information for the week of June 9, 2013 Lee Boulevard, between Jadwin Avenue and George Washington Way and The Parkway. Each Friday through October, these streets will be closed to traffic from 6:30 am to 1:30 pm for the Farmer’s Market. Businesses in the Parkway will remain open. Dallas Road, a contractor will be working along both sides of Dallas Road this week. There may be partial lane closures & impacts. Please drive carefully. Stevens Drive and Mahan Street, a contractor will be working between Van Giesen Street and Williams Boulevard installing new water mains. The roadways will be closed during working hours Monday thru Friday. Symons Street will be closed 24 hours a day from Stevens Drive to Mahan Avenue for use as a staging area. Detours will be in place around the work area. Terminal Drive, a contractor will have Terminal Drive between Van Giesen Street and Aileron Street closed temporarily this week for utility extension. There will be a detour in place. GRINDING FOR THE 2013 RESIDENTIAL ASPHALT OVERLAY, Street Maintenance crews will begin grinding streets below on Monday June 10, 2013. Residents will be notified in advance when the grinding operation will begin on each street. (1) Everest from Catskill Street to McMurray Avenue (2) Berkshire Street from Everest Street to Jadwin Avenue (3) Pike Avenue from Blue Street to McMurray Street (4) Hood Avenue from Berkshire Street to Everest Avenue (5) Lassen Avenue from Berkshire Street to Pike Avenue (6) Luther Place from Berkshire Street to McMurray Street. All streets will be open to local traffic only. On street parking or areas near intersections will not be allowed while grinding operation is in progress. (Streets listed maybe subject to change.)
