Here is the schedule for our show on the 30th of August All classes £5 each Showing classes to start at approximately 9am Class 1: Best turned out This will be judged on the overall presentation of both Horse tack and rider. Class 2: Lead rein pony Ponies to be 4 years old and over. Riders not to have attained their 8th birthday before the 1st of january. In the current year. Class 3: Mountain & Moorland Horses may be shown in hand or under saddle. The judge will be looking at the overall impression of the horse and rider i.e. A proper Mountain and Moorland presentation with animals in their natural state. Class 4: Riding club horse/pony The judge will be looking for a well-mannered sensible horse/ponies. A small jump may be required at the descretion of the judge. Class 5: Coloured horse/pony Horses/ponies may be shown in hand or under saddle. Class 6: Veteran horse/pony To be over 15 years of age. Class 7: Ex racer Horses only eligible for this class if they have previously Competed as a racehorse. Class 8: Ridden horse/pony Horse under saddle to be 4years and over. Class 9: Championship All first and second prize winners for classes 1-7 are eligable for this class. Class 10: Fancy dress. Classes 4,5,6 & 8 will be placed horse and pony. There shall be a short break after the showing classes have finished before the jumping commences at approximately 12 oclock. Unaffiliated jumping will take place in the afternoon. Class 1: wobbly riders Fences will be small cross poles, riders can be led. Class 2: Nursery novice Fences up to 40cm Class 3: Novice Fences up to 50cm Class 4: Speed class Fences up to 60cm against the clock, fastest clear round wins. Class 5:Intermediate Fences up to 70cm Class 6: Open Fences up to 85cm Class 7: Pairs jumping One rider will jump half the course at 40cm and the other Has to jump the rest at 60cm, fastest team wins. Class 8: Chase me Charlie Each rider will have 3 lifes, the fence shall go up after each rider has cleared it until one rider remains. Rules and Regulations ·The judges’ decision is final. · Riding hats MUST be worn at all times when mounted and comply with Rule 101/3 and 101/4. · The Organisers will not accept any legal liability for accidents, loss, damage, injury or illness to horses, owners, grooms, riders, spectators or any property owned by them. · Stewards, Judges and Show Organisers have the jurisdiction to disqualify any horse/rider if in their opinion, it is behaving in such a way likely to cause accident and/ or injury to other horses/ponies, competitors, their associates or any member of the public. Should this occur the animal should be returned to its stable or horsebox immediately and may be asked to leave the show site. ·The event will run strictly in accordance with British Showjumping Rules. · Where there are fewer than 2 in a class, the show organisers may cancel the class. If there is 2 or more then the class will run.
