Here is the so called comprehensive plan presented by the city last night (video of the meeting is posted on this page) They sure are making a lot of changes despite what the media printed today. We are light years from where we began with the city claiming that nothing was wrong: 1) Dogs will now be Vaccinated for distemper/parvo at intake. (we would hope for additional screening to be preformed at this time) 2) They have hired two additional PT ACOs 3) The dogs are once again being fed twice a day. 4) We were told that they are now working with a trusted vet for care (we know the vet doing the blood drain is no longer dealing with the city) 5) The ACOs will be receiving additional training from Mohawk Hudson Humane Society staff 6) SAC now has a working Microchip scanner all this is a great start and another huge victory for the Dogs of Schenectady AC but much more needs to be done.
