Here is the updated letter from Mr. Hicks regarding the incident in Clarence this past week: Dear Parent or Guardian: On Friday, September 13, 2013, we were made aware of a suspicious incident that took place on Miland Rd. near the Salt Rd. intersection involving an elderly man in a white vehicle who drove very slowly and attempted to make contact with a middle school student waiting for the school bus. We sent letters home with elementary and middle school students on Friday afternoon informing parents of the incident. The New York State Police investigated the incident, identified the man on Friday evening, and determined that he does not pose a threat. The police have asked me to remind parents to report any unusual activity to them. As always, the safety of your children is our primary concern.
