Here is this weeks featured adoptable cat, Fresca! Hello everyone! Can you believe I’ve been around since June?! My foster mom can’t believe it, so she decided to tell everyone just how great I am. I was removed from a cat hoarding situation with 4 of my friends, but in spite of my rough start I’m a perfect cat. The other girls who came in with me have taken some time to come out of their shells but I’ve always been a confident cat who can fit in everywhere. I’m the kind of cat who will just make myself at home and feel like an immediate part of the family. The vets think I’m probably around 2 or 3 years old, which is the perfect age! I’ve outgrown being an annoying kitten, but I still love to play. My favorite things to do are to play laser and to carry my favorite purple stuffed mouse around in my mouth and growl, which always makes my foster mom laugh. I am a very gentle girl, and would never use my claws or teeth with my people or with my cat friends, even when we’re playing. I also love to nap, and you’ll often find me asleep on the bed in the middle of the day. I love to cuddle, and when my foster mom comes home I’m always waiting at the door for her. I can’t wait for her to finally sit down on the couch so I can climb into her lap. I’m a very affectionate girl, who doesn’t have much personal space! I love my people and I always make sure that they know it. I didn’t have all the attention that I required before I was rescued and now I never take a good cuddle for granted. I’m quite good with other cats, as I’ve never been without them. I like to play and cuddle with them sometimes but I can be a bit bossy. I might give them a slap on the head to keep them in line, but without claws of course, and the cats all seem to love me anyways! The relationship with my human family is the most important thing to me. Overall I’m a pleasure to have around and you couldn’t ask for a more loving friend. You’ll never be lonely with me around. My foster mom will miss me, but she says its time for me to meet my family and to make space for another lucky cat to get their second chance! Interested in finding out more about Fresca?
