Here is this years PSA for my teacher friends, I write it with my whole heart. This year you are most likely to have a kid in your class that takes a whole lot of patience. They will might spin and make noises during quite time they might cry and yell before assemblies. They might not be able to keep hands to themselves or even know how to relate to friends. But KNOW that they are most likely working harder than anyone else in your class. They are learning everything you have to teach PLUS the social skills and norms that come so naturally to typical kids. You should know that most likely that kids mom prayed for her babys teacher ALL summer. When you feel fed up, remember YOU are Gods answer to a prayer. That is an AWESOME responsibility. Dont ever take it lightly. Love and respect every kid, even that hard ones. You have the power, in just 186 days, to change a life forever! Have a great year.
