Here is what I have to say about Dabo playing Deshaun: there isnt a coach in America that shows more devotion and love to his players than Dabo Swinney. Jake Nicolopolous ran down the hill last week as a graduating senior football player. He had a horrible stroke while still in high school, after he committed to us-and everyone knew he would never be able to play football agin. But Dabo said he committed to us-so we commit to him. He kept his scholarship when every coach in America would have taken it back. He kept Tony McNeal on the team, Stanley Hunter on scholarship when his epilepsy prevented him from ever playing-and also brought him back as a ga coach. This is a man that has not only proven to the stars on his team that he loves them-but also the guys that could never play a down of football-the ones who had an important scholarship-when scholarships are limited. So anyone that thinks Dabo would risk a player for a game-knows nothing about the man. This is a coach that has proven and shown an incredible devotion and love for all of his players time and time again-and in a deeper way than any coach in football. It is why he recruits so well-because these players know they are his family. I do not believe he would ever recklessly risk DeShaun Watsons future for a game.
