Here is what I received from the D N R today: Dear Kenneth, Thank you for using the Iowa DNR website. As of June 17th, it is still not recommended to swim in Geode. The only fish concern currently for Geode is the recommendation to have no more than one meal per week of largemouth bass because of a higher mercury content. Please let me know if you have further questions or concerns. Thank you. THERE IS NOT A RECOMMENDATION NOT TO FISH. ONLY TO DRINK AND WE ARE NOT EATING THE FISH EITHER. THE INFO I RECEIVED IS AS POSTED. I WILL BE THERE SUNDAY TO FISH. YOU SHOULD TAKE PRECAUTIONS BUT IT WILL NOT STOP THE FISHING AT THIS TIME.
