Here is what Ive put together so far for at least 10 homeless backpack care kits. Thanks to those who donated backpacks and a big thanks to my cousin Mark who made a generous financial donation which will help me make even more packs and also to my mom who basically cleared the shelves of Savers buying all the blankets hats gloves and scarves they had. Since I got asked this a lot, each backpack contains: scarf, socks, gloves, beanie, blanket, tissues, wet wipes, toothbrush, toothpaste, soap, deoderant, peanut butter, applesauce, granola bars, pop tarts, saltine crackers, peanuts, razor, q-tips, hand sanitizer, tuna, toilet paper, water and some other snacks.
