Here is what a foster husband wrote on his page today. It made me cry. This is why I LOVE our 2nd Chance family!!!! Vint Varner we LOVE you!!! Always wondered what my purpose in life was to be, always wondered why some people were rich and some were poor and some were this way and that way. I always tried being somebody else, it hit me tonight that my purpose in life is to be a good husband to my fantastic wife Jen Kautz Varner and a good father to my fur babies. Ive rescued dogs that without Jen and I or Lynn Leach, these animals would be deceased by now. Giving good lives to Molly, Davis, Toby bless him and now Sammy. This is what I was meant to be and do. All this time trying to be somebody I wasnt and the true me was staring at me in the mirror. It only took me 40 years, I do make a difference, it may not be noticed outside my house but so what, Im loved, Im needed and I make a difference to Molly, Davis and Sammy. I never again will complain by what I dont have and be thankful for what I do have. God has blessed me with a lot and its time I am thankful for it.
