Here is why stimulus programs and tax incentives never create jobs. The economy will only have as many jobs as it takes to meet demand, and no more. The famous Solyndra company, with government guaranteed loans, blew $535 million to create--and then lose--2,000 jobs. They built a great factory to make a great product--which no one wanted to, or could afford to buy. You cant use supply-side solutions for demand-side problems. The only thing that creates jobs is DEMAND for goods and services. Any small business person can understand that. Maybe someday politicians will get it, too.
