We tend to underestimate sugars effect on our body and assume it is all weight related. We thought we would let you know the effect of sugar on our brain. Consuming Omega 3s can help combat sugars effects. Brain tells stomach you are hungry - Not only is certain sugars empty calories, it also makes us want to eat more. A study out of Yale found that sugar blocked the hormone released from our brain that made us feel full, which increased our overall appetite. Sugar or any other nutrient that is over consumed is the actual issue. Attempt to cut out as much processed food as possible and have sugar with protein and fat to slow overall digestion.
