Here it is! The all new JD 2730 Mulch Ripper in action. This is a Brand New piece of technology that we were lucky enough to demo here at our Bluffton store. This VIDEO features the 2730 being pulled by a JD 9630 4WD tractor running 6mph. The FIELD was wheat stubble with a sandy soil texture that had about 1 of recent rain, it also had not been ripped in 15-20 years. The RIPPER was a 9 shank 24 folding with individual disc and knife edge roller. -Disc depth approximately. 5 -Rippers depth approximately 12 BIG THANKS to Chad Lantz and Jarin Tucker for taking the video.
