Here it is! Today, at the Institut für Journalismus & Medienmanagement der FHWien der WKW, we found a lot of people in LinkedIn with fake diplomas. So we opened up a chat with Almeda University, one of the biggest suppliers of fake degrees. Guess what happened. Real, live chat. We edited very long pauses if they were over 4 minutes. The video starts with some old examples. After that, we show you some recent LinkedIn profiles of sometimes well known people who claiming educational fame. And a sherif in a congressional record is honoured, although he has a fake degree. We end with a confrontation with Almeda University : a live chat. Since they agree to everything we want, we make our background story a little bit stranger. Almeda still doesnt care about our background: our money will do.
