Here it is the first of December and there is so much going on this month at Haller Lake Baptist Church. Many great and wonderful events for the month. African Gospel Acappella Concert Benefit for Liberia in Wake of Ebola Crisis on Friday, December 12, 7:00pm Dont miss out on this special event featuring Christmas and African Gospel music. The four men who will be singing met at a school for the blind in Liberia. There is no admission fee - a free-will offering will be taken to benifit the country of Liberia which has been devastated by the Ebola crisis which has caused shortage of food, school closures and inflated prices. Following the concert, everyone is invited to stay for delicious Christmas goodies and coffee. Holiday Bazaar - Lower Auditorium December 13, 11:00 - 4:00 Wits End Come to browse and shop while enjoying a warm beverage and live music! Local artisans will have tables with a variety of hand-made items to sell. Mens Breakfast, December 20, 8:30am Come join and enjoy a hot breakfast meal with other men in the basement of Haller Lake Baptist Church. There will be a guest speaker - Steve Hall who is the respresentative for International Renewal Ministries in Washington State. Steve had written a wonderful devotional book entitled I Want to Know More of Christ which gives a daily throught on 365 names and titles of Christ throughout Scripture. Steve will be sharing on the supremacy of Christ - a most timely topic for Christmas. Invite your friends. SUNDAY DECEMBER 21 Christmsd Service at 11:00am Come out to see HLBC children present a short pageant to help us visualize the wonder of Jesus comingto Earth as a baby born in a humble manger. This special service will also include congregational singing and a message based on the Christmas story. OPEN HOUSE from 2:30 - 4:30pm Pastor Don & Gloria would love to have all of you join them for some holiday fun at 329 NE 167th Street, Shoreline. Christmas Eve by Candlelight Wednesday, December 24, 6:00pm Be sure to join us for our Christmas Eve by Candlelight Service. This is a time for us to gather and reflect upon the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ into this world. Come quiet your heart, sing the Christmas carols and worship the Lord.
