Here the main protagonist is the universe and other characters are space, time, proton, neutron, black holes and galaxies etc. Their relationships are guided by general relativity and quantum mechanics. Their characteristics or behavior is explained by innumerable theories and principles like string theory, the uncertainty principle, anthropic principle, entropy etc. The contemplation about the birth of the Universe made me realize how incredibly insignificant we are. I was amazed to think about time travel. I was fascinated while reading about the thermodynamic arrow of time, the psychological arrow of time and the cosmological arrow of time. I must say, that my brain consumed huge amounts of calories while reading this book. Indeed a wonderful read!
