Here we are in November and PDDs S.I.S. assessments are well underway. As reports come back about the assessments we continue to have concerns about the manner in which this tool is being used. Some S.I.S. specialists appear to have preconceived ideas about where people should be scored and have been heard saying they disagree with a suggested score of the people assembled because the most common answer for people like her/him is 2. While the S.I.S is a good tool, it is only as good as the person employing it. Be sure to familiarize yourself with the S.I.S. tool and have key people at the meeting so that accurate support needs are noted.
