Here we go... Tiana called home for me to bring her some pants because the FOOTBALL COACH pulled her aside and told her that her skirt was too short! I slick want to say that he was looking too hard but maybe just maybe he doesnt want his players distracted by her legs. We all know Tiana is a little tall and a lot of her height comes from the legs. But being the mom that I am, Im diligent in making sure her shorts and skirts are appropriate in and out of school. With that said, her skirt comes to the top of her knee and is past her fingertips as the dress code states (They told her it must come past the knee. What school skirt comes past the knees?). Not only did I confirm this with the BOE but I left word with the school about it as well along with my frustrations about her missing important instructional time (in Algebra above all classes). Suffice to say that although, I have yet to hear back from the school, Tiana has informed me that she will be returning to class. Hmmph! Guess they got the message. #schoolblues #powertotheparent
