Here we have it. You were warned. A no vote will be catastrophic to Scotland. Goodbye Barnett Formula, hello extra austerity. Four times as many people down south want to stop the extra money sent to Scotland to stop. Not surprising as they have been fed the line that Scotland gets more per head than England, and its true. What they are not told is that our geography and our demographics mean we need more just to have a similar level of service. And they are not told that Scotland contributes more in tax than the average in England. So go ahead, vote NO. But dont come crying when we cant afford to keep our free prescriptions, our free universities, our bus passes.
