Here we have some gauges for the Stradale version of the car that we have been looking to do for some time. For some time it has been difficult for those building a Stratos replica to find a complete set of period Fiat gauges to suit a Stradale type dash panel (the Oil temp & Ammeter particularly) & even if a complete set can be accumulated then the speedo is mechanical & the tacho is often configured for a 4 cylinder engine which then leads to further expense, parts, modifications & headaches etc. We therefore took the decision last year to try to create a new set of gauges which had the classic appearance & features of the originals but were built around modern electronic available gauges. We appreciate that these may not be accurate enough for some purists but for the majority of customers they offer a good available solution to a problem which has existed for Stratos replica builders for sometime. The gauges shown are the prototype set so there is an odd anomaly visible (which the eagle eyed will spot), this will be rectified for the production sets. We are happy with the results & hope our customers are too. The rocker switches are a work in progress & are not the definitive solution as yet.
