Heres Timmmmmmaaaayyyyyy!!!!!!!! Ok, this is a tough one guys. Hes been with me a while and he thinks hes home. Im the first person to ever show him real love so hes very attached to me and finding him a special home is going to be a big task. In April, this divine doggie was surrendered to us, and he was a shell of a dog. He appeared happy enough, but truly he didnt know what love was. He didnt know what a home without fear was like. His owners didnt even have a lead or collar or food bowls for him! He had a cancerous tumour. Nobody wanted him. He tried to be happy but he was actually highly anxious and sad. Well, the cancer is gone (Thank you Animal Medical Centre, Boronia!), hes had tons of TLC, training, desensitization to scary things, and socialisation. Hes come such a long way, and has really flourished in foster care. He has become a temporary member of my family and has enjoyed his 4 legged cousins, play dates at the dog park, visits to friends houses, and lots of fun walks meeting new people and dogs! Timmys been buddies with tiny Noodle (less than 1.5kgs!), right up to 3 big Great Danes - and every other size dog in between! Hes cat friendly, and he loves kids. His confidence varies around some people, so for the right home, well be doing a few play dates/meet and greets before he stays for good. It will help transition him without too much of a shock to the system. We are really hoping for an active family, preferably with teenage kids, a doggy friend with similar activity levels, and a home where he will be a true member of the family - welcomed inside the home as much as possible, and taken on all the sorts of fun outings that can be had! Hes really a giant goofball! His nicknamed is Spud..... hes a bit dopey at times but only in the most adorable ways. Kind of a big pup that is still learning at times, and totally CRAZY when he wants to be (where is that off switch?), but equally as happy snuggling with his loved ones - both two and four legged.
