Heres a Question from Pommy Mommy, Nalyn Grace... I have a serious question and Im hoping someone else has been through it- My girl Josie, is the 3rd to come into the pack. She actually ironically came in from the same breeder as my 2nd rescue girl a year ago but Josie just recently entered in Oct as her adoptive parents returned her. She has been sick since June. She has meningitis, her back legs were paralyzed for 2.5 weeks, she was having seizures, but shes been going chemo and shes doing awesome.. walking again etc... When she had a seizure, my 2nd rescue, sapphire, attacked Josie. She is an alpha female but has never done this at all before prior to Josie being sick. All 3 have been a pack and loved each other. Now, I know alot of dogs have that primal instinct where its natural to take out the weak so I have always kept them separate when Im at work ever since I seen the first attack. Tonight, I literally stepped out of my house for a few minutes to throw the garbage out and I came back in with Sapphire having Josie pinned down, attacking her. At first I thought Josie was having a seizure but it was just a pure attack out of no where. This has never happened... any suggestions?
