Heres a bit of a travel update for anyone interested. I am about to leave Berlin for Norway and Midnight Sun Festival! Epic excitement for this festival and the location - The Lofoten Islands - one of the most beautiful places I have seen (in photos so far). As for Berlin.. holy shit this city is amazing. Ive never fallen in love with a city like this before. The old cobblestone streets, awesome street art, buildings, so multicultural. There are beautiful lakes just a short train ride away and the water is amazing to swim in. The public transport is nek level, so easy to get around, and there are bikes everywhere! The people are really friendly, if I need to ask a random person on the street something I have never had a bad reaction, and most can speak English pretty well. It is also home to the best clubs Ive ever been to, and Im told the best in the world. We went to one called Sisyphos this weekend, which can hardly be called a club. Situated a little bit out of residential areas, this is more like a little festival in the city. It starts on Friday and doesnt stop til Monday. As you walk in you see a huge open outdoor area, with sand and a small lake. There is a beach stage here which runs during the daytime. There is another small indoor/outdoor stage nearby which is always running, and two indoor stages which start cranking in the evening, all through the night. They have a kitchen with really good food, the drinks are reasonably priced and always nice and strong. You can stay the whole weekend if you want. And the music.. I actually like (good) techno now. haha. Im glad to have discovered this. So..Berlin, you are awesome, and I look forward to returning later in my travels!
