Heres a classic you can take the girl out of the south but you cant take the south out of the girl scenario! I havent been able to wear my pearl earrings for months because I lost the back to one. I surely do love my pearls! I mean who doesnt? Anyway, I was just sitting here thinking about last minute preparation for Nelly Lou and I realized that I couldnt waste anymore time about replacing the back to my pearl earings. So I went to the jewelry store to get a back. The girl said these are the biggest pearls Ive seen around here. (their really not big at all)! I told her I needed a back cause I surely couldnt have a baby and not have my pearl earrings for the birth. I was dead serious and they just laughed at me. everybody just about died laughing. They said, youre not from here are you. I said no. Then it was a guessing game to figure out what southern state I was from. Laugh all you want Yankees! At least Im gonna look good when my baby is born. Ha!
