TSN Legal Analyst, Eric Macramalla tweets, To those declaring that the NHL concussion lawsuit is a money grab, it isnt; its a reflexive reaction to an inherently complex issue Here are my questions (and please note I am not trying to be difficult, perhaps I am just ignorant to the problem in its entirety); What is so complex about -- 1) Players refusing to wear NHL issued head & facegear? And... 2) Players getting themselves contractually obligated to professionally play a sport in which theyre aware of the health risks/hazards? I cannot help but suspect that *some* former NHLers are out to get a piece of the revenue pie which was never available to them in their era. Like I underlined before, maybe theres a whole bunch of stuff Im missing. But I am interested to hear what the fans think.
