Heres a little DIY inspiration from PScos customer Cameron. He recently remodeled a small WC. In his own words: Here are a few images of the final product. It’s a powder room so please excuse the odd angles. I tried hard to get everything in to tell the story. Process- - I pulled all the nails and saved them. - I cut them quickly with a jig saw and then gave them a once over with an electric hand sander. Too much sanding and the character is stripped away. They were measured loosely so that I wasn’t trying too hard to make it perfect. - I didn’t seal or poly anything as there is no shower or moisture to contend with. - I used an indoor/outdoor tape made by Scott. It is grey with red plastic on one side. It’s two sided and can hold up art work and things that hold some weight without ripping the plaster off the walls when you are done. Each piece of lath got 3 pieces of tape approx 1.5” long - I used spring-loaded mirror clips from home depot. They made it A LOT easier to fit in place. Total budget was about $100 and it probably took me 20 hours to handle the wood parts - painting not included. Lastly, I know the toilet is off center. It’s where the rough-in is. Hope this helps with a little inspiration!!!
