Heres a message I got from the mum of a fan. How good is this? Hi Stig. Firstly, thank you for accepting my friend request, as you would have been scratching your head wondering who I was. But let me tell you, my 12 year old son is a massive fan of yours. Although he has never seen you, and never will, you have brought him so much happiness in his life. My son, Sam, is blind. And through your work on audio books, he thinks you are amazing. And as parents, so do my husband and I. Thanks to audio books, and especially your incredible and hilarious interpretation of them, the stories have come to life for him. Although he reads Braille, dots on a page dont quite do the same. Thanks to you, and some amazing Australian kids authors, he has a love of reading and a gift for writing. In his spare time, he busily writes narratives. One day he hopes to write a book, while working in his career as an anaesthetist. Mind you, dont know if Id want to go to a blind anaesthetist (hahaha!). Thank you so much for fuelling my sons love of stories and brightening what could be a dark life for him. Lisa
