Heres a pretty random song for me. Songs truly come in all shapes and sizes. It was a pretty quickly, not too much thought into it, demo recording I threw together. But, with some imagination it still can be fun. I think I wrote the song back in 1998. I was vacuuming my living room and thinking about a situation I was finding myself rapidly being drawn towards. I just blurted out the true message line, just kind of popped out of me when I was vacuuming. I was like, Wow! Where did that come from?! Theres nothing like that laws of attraction energy when it starts running through your veins. Makes you feel like you are ten feet tall. These days when I feel it, I come to realize that Im holding a live electrical wire. :) The mellowing of age has its positives and negatives. :) Toby Keith kind of nailed it, I aint as good as I once was. But, Im as good once as I ever was. I think Im starting to get my sens-of-humor back with my year end thaw. :)~ The song is written in my, many times used, style of the meaning of this song is not the obvious. Which I find kind of fun, because it sorts people out in how deeply they think and pay attention. On the other side, it can appeal to two different mental perspective types of people. Where the fun begins, is when one from one mental perspective type poses the question to the other mental perspective type, Do you even know what this song is about? On the surface level. The song is, Oh my God! Ive got to have you! You are driving me crazy! But, the actual meaning of the song is about self-control, man versus his own instinctual nature, man versus animal. Do, I have the ability to show self-control when I place myself in such a challenging situation. Lets sleep naked tonight. Ive got to learn in my soul, if I have self-control when it comes to you.
