Heres a question for you all. I operate, as many of us do, as a sole trader and my ABN is registered under my name. However, I am thinking of registering a business name, but am unsure whether it would be worth my while. What are the pros and cons of registering a business name, as opposed to just running it as myself. FYI - My website is already branded using the prospective business name. I dont think that Im breaking any laws by doing this, but would welcome being educated (as opposed to expiated or incarcerated) if I am.
