Heres a quick tip- by eating carbohydrates 1 hour before training, you are actually slowing the fat burning process down. When we consume carbohydrates this creates a rise in the hormone known as insulin. Which when elevated during exercise decreases the oxidation of fatty acids. In other words, our bodies wont release the fatty acids we want them to, and instead will use the glucose that is now readily available. Not something you want when trying to lean out.
