Heres a simple fact: Tax cuts for the wealthy dont create jobs. - TopicsExpress

Heres a simple fact: Tax cuts for the wealthy dont create jobs. Ronnie Reagan said trickle down economics would benefit the working class, yet the result was a recession that spiked at over 10% unemployment. Dubbya dubbyaed down on Reagans failed economic theory, and surprise surprise, it contributed to the biggest recession in four generations, though it DID result in the wealthiest Americans garnering even more wealth than ever before. Heres another simple fact: All the Republicans considering a run for president in 2016 still insist tax cuts create jobs (with a quasi-exception for Chris Christie, who – under pressure – agreed not to drop taxes for New Jersey tax payers who make over $400k). Again; tax cuts for the rich has failed spectacularly TWICE, resulting in misery, poverty and unemployment for the middle and working classes, and an unprecedented windfall for the ultra-rich. But Ted Cruz, Rand Paul, Marco Rubio, Chris Christie and Paul Ryan all still promise as president, thats what their tax policy would be: More tax cuts for those who dont need them, offset by deeper cuts in social programs. Oh, and the abolition of the Affordable Care Act, of course. And even as they make this promise, they insist theyre concerned for YOU, and will ask for your support...and that trickle down will work this time. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. Fool me a THIRD TIME, I deserve everything I get. But dont take my word for it, here are a few far left liberal websites like Forbes, US News and Business Insider that confirm what we all know; that tax cuts for the wealthy dont create jobs and they dont benefit anyone but the wealthy. Thats worth repeating – TAX CUTS FOR THE WEALTHY DONT CREATE JOBS AND THEY DONT BENEFIT ANYONE BUT THE WEALTHY. Remember that. When you vote in November 2014 and 2016, keep these links handy. And compare their data with what Paul Ryan, Marco Rubio, Ted Cruz, Rand Paul and Chris Christie say on the stump. And get your neighbors to pay attention. Because the next election will be between a typical Democrat and an atypical Republican, possibly even a Tea Party member. And itll be for all the marbles. straightdope/columns/read/3043/does-cutting-taxes-create-jobs usnews/opinion/blogs/economic-intelligence/2012/05/03/do-lower-taxes-create-jobs-lets-look-at-the-states m.nakedcapitalism/nakedcapitalism/#!/entry/new-study-confirms-that-lower-corporate-tax-rates-dont-create,529ee753b7d8d24162b8f336 businessinsider/how-do-lower-taxes-create-jobs-2012-9 forbes/sites/billharris/2012/11/05/tax-cuts-dont-create-jobs/
