Heres a story. There once was a little rescue that tried to save the world, one dog (sometimes 2....or three...even 7!) at a time. The little rescue had some wonderful volunteers who put their heart, soul and often personal finances into this rescue. They cry with joy when a forgotten dog finally gets adopted, they cry with broken hearts when one of their dogs passes away. They are not a big rescue, with lots of volunteers or followers that brings in large donations, but a small group who tries their best. This small group loves all dogs...big or small, easy and sometimes not so easy. They realised that some dogs need extra help to find their home, sometimes expensive training, in order for these dogs to be successfully balanced and adopted. The little rescue cannot continue to save anymore beloved pets unless they have some help to fund these training and medical costs. The bigger rescues will continue but little rescues, who do so much on a shoestring and a prayer, cannot without your help. If you can find it in your hearts to send even a small amount, it is greatly appreciated. A little from many, goes a long way. This is the rescue I personally support and volunteer with.
