Heres a strange theoretical question for everyone. With people now building 3D printed houses, guns and food at a comparatively low cost. How plausible do you think it is and how long do you think it will be before someone makes a fully sized functional planet/moon kind of like a Death Star minus the giant laser (Or if Russia/US are involved with twice the amount of giant lasers) using the 3D printing technology/principle? I think it might be possible but it would be extremely complex. I think the hardest part would be putting it together and getting it into a steady orbit around a planet/moon with earth-like gravity and for it to be strong enough to defy various forces. How would you solve the various problems with making this work?
