Heres a taste of what I took on this past summer, uncovering a little stretch of the main line of the Philadelphia and Baltimore Central Railroad. Later controlled by the PRR, it was called the Octaroro Branch. This is in Concordville PA where construction started in 1855. The right of way is now owned by the South East PA Transit Authority (SEPTA) The line was abandoned after Hurricane Agnes in 1972. Time to time Ill post some more for the Abandoned Rails Group showing the slow progress made fighting back the yellow jackets and jungle
