Heres a very informative drawing video by DC Comic artist Freddie Williams. It demonstrates a very straight forward way of sketching digitally and building character forms and anatomy. I pretty much use the same loose messy form of scribble/wire frame sketching to mold my figures (whether it be cartoony or realistic anime style) because it gets rid of my idea of perfection during early sketches along with adding a good flow of energy in my drawings. It truly helps when youre molding your figures and trying new dynamic poses. Give it a watch and be sure to check out more of Freddies work.
