Heres a word i just looked up out of curiosity. ENABLER: one that enables another to achieve an end;especially:one who enables another to persist in self destructive behavior(such as substance abuse but NOT limited to) by providing EXCUSES or by making it possible to avoid the consequences of such behavior. I can thankfully say that im not an enabler. I have been, but I either walked away from those people or the person changed.If you have this destructive habit,i urge you to get help. AA has counseling, so does Blue Ridge Church. Basically,your so desperate for love that your putting up with abuse, and thats NOT healthy. Hope this helps someone. :)
