Heres an example of how *some* black men on You Tube actively troll channels to tarnish the image of black women to everyone. This guy wrote this on my latest YT Google Hangout Discussion: Ummm.. I hate to rain on your parade (well, maybe not) but this SWIRL movement is crippled; the GARDEN VARIETY BW is NOT a slim, non-weave wearing, elegant (non-ratchet) such as yourself!!!! If BW were like you, BM and BW would NOT have the issues we have...... GOD SPEED!!!! --------------- Heres my reply: First, Ill address your comment by telling you a story. When my book, Swirling: How to Date, Mate and Relate, Mixing Race, Culture and Creed came out, I was flooded with black male trolls who mocked, and belittled me, saying the only reason I dated interracially and wrote the book is because no black man wanted me. But why would they say that? As you yourself observe, Im slim, non-weave wearing, and elegant. So...if Im all these things, then why wouldnt the average black man want me, if in fact, he appreciates those things? Ill tell you why. I am not a unicorn. College, universities and corporate offices are filled with black women that look like me that get passed over constantly by accomplished black men who enjoy their coveted position as the rare IBM and will sample all these women, plus women of other races, and wont marry a one of them because hes just having too much fun. Meanwhile, the women like me, like the ones you describe, are rotting on the vine. So while you try to categorize most black women as ratchet, NONE of those types of women are in my demo or visit my blog. Theyre on Bossip, Media Take Out, and Lipstick Alley. I guess it thats where you go to find quality, youll be disappointed. Top shelf women come to read my stuff, and I assure you, based on my Google Analytics, they are LEGION. Good day. And thanks (no thanks) for that backhanded compliment. Show less SEE FOR YOURSELF HERE:
