Heres an image that has some type of large bird of prey that was circling in an upward spiral and was a bit closer to the ground when I first saw it today on Division Street. As an inadvertent bonus, there are at least 7 dragonflies in this picture, also. I opted not to retouch out the CCD ghosting in the image (faint, darker smudges) that are very likely mild burns from sun photos. Theyre only visible when Im fully zoomed optically and the lens is clean. Theyre not difficult to remove but are a tad time consuming and Im continuing with the Toppen photo processing otherwise I would have fixed them before posting. Anyone know if that bird is a hawk or osprey? I cant find matching wing mark patterns online.
