Heres an interesting little trivia nugget that I didnt know. CBS actually wrote and aired a pilot spin-off of M*A*S*H called W*A*L*T*E*R, following the life of Walter Radar OReilly after his stint in the Korean War. In the new show, he was a police officer in St. Louis. The pilot wasnt picked up, and its one and only broadcast was pre-empted on the west coast. It also had a pre-SNL Victoria Jackson, and was directed by Bill David Banner Bixby.
