Heres another Testimony Tuesday ... This summer started out on broken pieces - Not only was there no real budget for the summer program in CT, but the money for a NC State grant got held up too (still looking for it). Meanwhile, my dad has been hospitalized since June 7th, and on June 25th one of my favorite little cousins was brutally shot in cold blood (bold to say here, but very true) + only a year since losing my BIG Cuz (RIP to both). Was not able to devote 5 straight weeks to the program and lost a few folks along the way. So, wheres the testimony in ALL of this? I go through the test, but it is GOD who carried me through it - with all the loss: folks who made commitments broke them, parents who bartered for tuition bailed but NEVER removed their children (they knew I wouldnt kick out the kids), and city folks made promises they cannot keep beyond photo-ops. The bottom line is - People Involved in Motivating Our Students Higher managed to remain in tact even while under ATTACK!!! Summer Intensive Arts Education & Technology Institute still managed to accomplish its goal of producing a FIRE & Safety Project, including but not limited to: Book Series: Fire Starters with Soundtrack (original music), a picture/coloring & activity book, a video documentary called Blazing Fire Trails featuring folks who have been in and lived through real fires, and more! Because I know what Ive been through this summer and the state of both my emotional & spiritual condition - theres no way I can take credit for the outcome ... If I cannot take credit, NO ONE BUT GOD CAN. I thank GOD for those who came along as People Involved in Motivating Our Students Higher (PIMOSH) - BUT GOD GETs the GLORY, not us. #beyondfaithtoknowingthatiknowhatiknow
