Heres goes and I hope to have a healthy Conversation and response, I know we have alot of smart and intelligent people here. I know we brag about our loved country of Antigua and Barbuda, and post some really, really awesome pictures of landscapes and sea side villas, houses and bungalows adjacent and overlooking the sea. However, how many of these breath taking sea side property is of Antiguan ownership or occupancy. The major populace live in St, Johns and All Saints areas, thats where most of the population lives. If we are able to see the figures of ownership and occupancy, you will know that the Antiguans and Barbudans do not have the luxury of enjoying these Billion Dollar views and amenities. The majority look out their window and see another persons backyard, in some obscure area, but home is home, the majority of the time, you have to partial enter some type of hotel or so property to go to a nice beach, how many can wake up in the morning and have bush tea, lipton tea or coffee overlooking the beautiful caribbean sea. Some have lived all their life in Antigua and never had such a luxury. Is this Paradise lost, or what, are we short changed, or not wise enough to know what we have? I was watching clips of Memorial Day weekend activity, mostly in the US and when I saw some of the beaches that the people flocked to and traveled so far to, I shook my head, because those beaches could not compete with ours. I could go on and on, but I will pause here for now.
