Heres how it works: Congress proposes stupid legislation. They wait for people to react how any rational person would react to stupid legislation. Then they wait for the outrage do be reduced to a simmer - when only the people most affected, informed, and outspoken are still raising the issue. Once that happens, and the majority of the voting population is apathetic, they pass the bill. Little guys lose. Favors are paid to big political donors. Politicians get more funding. Dont let that happen with this one. Keep the pressure on Washington to just toss this bill in the trash.
