Heres my honey garlic ferment, day 2. (Started on Xmas day.) Peeled a whole bulb of garlic, which is swimming in raw wildflower honey from my local organic farm. After 2 days, the honey seems to be a little more liquidy. The honey close to the bottom of the jar felt more thick, than around the cloves. I tasted a spoonful but didnt detect much garlicky flavor yet. Bubbles from turning upside down, and stirring with a spoon. Tom Dub Yeah reminded me that I have to burp the jar every day, but it didnt hiss at all when I burped it this afternoon. Yes, the jar is sitting in a saucer of water, to deter ravenous sugar ants that recently appeared out of nowhere. They are crazy for honey. Marian.
